UKC show March 2007 was a good show. Hoku earned 2 majors by going Best Female in Show #1 on Saturday and Show #1 on Sunday. She also took a Reserve Best Female in Show #2 on Saturday and Show #2 on Sunday.
UKC show April 7-8, 2007 was an even bigger success!! Hoku took Best Female in Show #1 and #2 on Saturday earning her championship. Then in the Champion class on Easter Sunday in Show #1 she won the Champion class and then went on for Best Of Breed followed by a Reserve Best In Multi-Breed Show!! Then in Show #2 on Sunday she won the Champion class with her littermate sister taking the Best of Breed followed by a Best In Multi-Breed Show. UKC show Dec. 16-17, 2006 was another HUGE success!!! I now have my first home-bred champion!! That is right, Diesel now carries a CH in front of his name!! He took 1st in his class and a Reserve Best Male in Show #1 on Saturday and only a 1st in his class for Show #2. Then on Sunday he took 1st in his class and Best Male in both shows. That means Diesel finished with an extra major!! Here is his Champion Win photo!!
UKC show Oct. 28-29, 2006 was a huge success!! My very own bred-by male, Diesel, took 1st in his class all 4 shows. He took in show #1 on Saturday Best Male, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed. Then in show #2 on Saturday he took Best Male. Sunday in both shows he went Reserve Best Male. He just needs one more major and he will be a UKC champion. Here is his win photo.

Saturday, April 28, 2007 Hoku obtains her 2nd major and her championship. She received another 3 point major taking Winners Bitch and, again, went on to receive Best of Opposite Sex. On Sunday, she again took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex but only recieved 2 points. She finished her Championship with 4 extra points!!!
Saturday, April 14, 2007 Hoku obtains her 1st major. She received a 3 point major taking Winners Bitch and then went on to get Best of Opposite Sex. Sunday she won her class and that is as far as it went for that weekend.
The AKC Fiesta Cluster March 1-5, 2007 was a success. Hoku and her sister just turned 14 months old and they took turns sharing the points, like always. Thursday March 1st Hoku took Winners Bitch while her sister, Alana, took Reserve Winners Bitch. Friday March 2nd her sister took Winners Bitch while Hoku took Reserve Winners Bitch. Saturday March 3rd Hoku took Winners Bitch and a nice brindle female from Mexico took Reserve Winners Bitch. Then Hoku hit a glitch on Sunday March 4th and didn't get anything, but her sister took Winners Bitch and the brindle female from Mexico took the Reserve Winners Bitch. Then, finally, on Monday March 5th the brindle female from Mexico took Winners Bitch and Hoku took Reserve Winners Bitch. Thursday thru Sunday there were a total of 2 points each day that the Winners took home and on Monday there was only 1 point. Hoku now has a grand total of 11 points and no majors. We hope to get her majors before the summer rolls around. Here are a couple of pix from the show. The 1st pic is of the Winners Bitch class on Friday. The 2nd pic is of Alana and Hoku at the show and they are 14 months old.

Top Shottas Hoku HotRod-N 2 AZ started her AKC show career September 16-17, 2006. Her only competition that weekend was her sister where Hoku went Best of Breed on Saturday the 16th. Then her sister went Best of Breed the following day. Here is the photo of Hoku just after winning.
